The given models of national costumes were taken in 2023 from the Internet sales sites indicated under each photo. The coincidence of the national costumes of Russia and Mordovians causes distrust, so we present the following 2 photos from the annual festival of Mordovian culture “Масторавань морот“ in the city of Ulyanovsk (Russian Federation) [1]. Picture of the national women's dress of the 3 largest Mordovian tribes. Mordovians are not a single ethnic group, but a united concept of the peoples of eastern Russia. In an insulting form, they were called “Katsaps” (since Ukrainians are “Khokhols”). The word “Katsaps” could be heard in Kursk, Voronezh and Kuban (all are Russian Federation), which indicates that it does not apply to all Russians. Photo with modern national women's attire and an inscription in Mord language on the gate. In general, Mordovian culture has good examples of folk art and a sense of beauty. This deserves respect and special attention, but our goal here is to show the difference between this culture and the culture of the Rusyns.
